Wisconsin Dodges GTAC's Mercenary Bullet - - But For How Long?

For now...GTAC mining has withdrawn its heavily-armed guard force from iron ore test mining sites because the big guns brought in from Arizona were not licensed to be toted up north.

And that's a good thing, not just because GTAC has backed out of a PR misfire but because it lessens the likelihood of a terrible miscalculation in the woods that could produce bloodshed.

GTAC will find another guard outfit that has all its proper paperwork, but incidents of minor vandalism by a handful of protestors do not merit the presence of battlefield assault weapons, and the company needs to revise its behavior to meet the reality of the situation.

Cooler heads and tactics should be the orders of the day.
