Wisconsin losing more traditional department stores

Wisconsin led the nation in J.C. Penney's store closings last year with five in Fond du Lac, Janesville, Rhinelander, Rice Lake and Wausau.

The company announced a new list for this year, and three more Wisconsin communities - - Oshkosh, Racine and Shawano - - are losing their stores.

Probably a loss of somewhere between 120 and 160 jobs.

Sure, I know things and trends change. One thing remains constant, however. A need for jobs.

Those job are being replaced by new, and less, jobs in Kenoshe at Amazon.

All the more reason to stress how education, technical or otherwise, will impact your ability to survive economically speaking.
