Media agreed to go easy on Walker in DC tonight

[Update] Or it could br a joke and I missed it!].
I guess attacking media has paid off for Walker, as Time reports he won't get asked anything tough at the big Gridiron event tonight. That's according to Gridiron Club President Clarence Page, a veteran Washington newsman:
“We had to make some concessions to get Gov. Scott Walker to appear,” Page said. “His people asked us to avoid gotcha questions—meaning no questions that end with a question mark.”
I'd love for this to turn out to be some Gridiron rope-a-dope. We'll see.

it was Clarence's attempt at a joke... But since it's a night of politics & comedy, one assumes Walker was there for the latter.
