More 'mis-stepps' at WDNR; 8/9 comes & goes w/out 'realignment'

If you were watching the calendar, as were DNR staffers, Aug. 9th was the date on which former McDonald's manager and current WI DNR Secretary Cathy Stepp was supposed to let employees know where they'd be working this coming Monday after Stepp's strategic "realignment" was disclosed.
Wisconsin DNR Secretary Cathy Stepp proudly shows off her first deer, taken opening weekend last year. In the upcoming TV Special "Deer Hunt Wisconsin 2012, Stepp urges male hunters to take more girls and women hunting. "The secret's out," she says. "Hunting is a lot of fun, so don't keep it to yourselves." photo courtesy of Wisconsin DNR
Sources within the DNR say August 9th came and went without anyone or anything being realigned.

It's only a few thousand people's work, career - - you know the small stuff in small government those old-timey public servants still sweat these days.

Reaffirming the mess within an agency on the downswing - - more evidence that running DNR with the "chamber of commerce mentality" Walker said he wanted doesn't include meeting deadlines.

Hey - - maybe multitasking as DNR Secretary and Trump/Pence surrogate is too much her. Only 24 hours in a day, you know.

Possible clues to the realignment and the 'thinking' behind it were lost when a video of Stepp holding court at a management seminar was realigned through deletion.

Stay tuned.
